Lessons in mind

The Jupiter kit has been designed with lessons in mind that range from the basic all the way to advanced university level electronics understanding.

The Jupiter comes not only with a physical manual with lessons, but also contains a digital manual and instructional videos on the device. This allows students to choose the approach that fits their learning style and learn independently.

All in One

Often electronics kits are either too limiting, or contain too many components that come with no direction for students to follow. What happens is either students quickly outgrow limited platforms, or are overwhelmed by the platforms that come with no direction.

Students who have experienced mentors can excel with complicated kits, but often the level of experience required and the “bird’s nest” created by the wires makes the process quite intensive for any faculty that can help.

Jupiter as a kit is designed around neat wiring, allowing students to still experiment, but also allows both students and mentors to quickly identify what’s wrong with a circuit.

Jupiter also contains a range of lab equipment that provide the students an ability to visualize the behavior of the circuit. Often the behavior of electrical signals are so obscure that students can be overwhelmed. But the built in oscilloscope allows students to see the behavior of signals in real time.

What can you learn?

The Jupiter lesson plan is broken into 4 sections. Each section runs from basic to advanced, but many pathways exist through the lessons to take a student to proficient in electronics.

    • Logic, ICs and Semiconductors

  3. Microprocessor Coding

    • I/O, conditional code, communication

    • Power supplies, advanced code techniques

JUPITER EMERALD

Jupiter Emerald is a classic circuit green version of the system. Green is the colour of most circuits for many reasons, inclusive of which is that our eyes can determine between shades of green more easily than other colours.

This allows students to easily determine the circuit to see how the Jupiter is put together.

This kit contains the Jupiter System, Physical booklet, digital material and basic component kit.

 

JUPITER MIDNIGHT

Jupiter Midnight is a special version of the Jupiter, that is made with transparent materials that enhances the contrast of the circuits. The benefit of enhanced contrast is a greater visibility of the circuits.

This increased visibility improves the ability of a student to see the underlying connections.

This kit contains the Jupiter System, Physical booklet, digital material and basic component kit.

 

JUPITER ADVANCEMENT KIT

The Jupiter Advancement kit allows an owner of a Jupiter system to gain additional boards and components that allow an even greater range of experiments.
